From Filter OFF to Filter ON
A. Publication
B. Folder Design
C. Plexiglass
Riso-printed publication, in plexiglass box + colored plastic glasses. The red colored glasses, filter out all parts of red ink. The publication was made for first year students of the WDKA at the time (2020), in order to filter out all of the negativities experienced as a result of the pandemic to relation with their studies.
This publication was created in the middle of the pandemic, so for my research I asked around the first year students what kind of negativities they were experiencing because of the pandemic. I put these negative messages in my publication and filtered/replaced them with positive ones. The aesthetic of the folder is based on internet meme culture with a mix of punk, to relate to my audience and clearly show what the negative parts are.
